Criteria used in selection of SURPINT fellows include:
- Alignment of interests with a faculty mentor.
NOTE: this is an important step to the application. Students are encouraged to reach out to faculty to discuss potential alignment ASAP! - Grade point average
- Relevant experience – Highlight your journey in science; any laboratory work, field studies, or relevant coursework can set the stage for your acceptance.
- Career goals – SURPINT is a catalyst for career development. We seek students whose professional aspirations align with the innovative spirit of our research community.
